These different expressions will help you to comprehend the world of music. There are plenty that you can use in your everyday life.

Try to do a short paragraph about something related with music (own experiences, inner dreams, ambitions, wishes, etc.) using these expressions in it.

What is it?
The past continuous is used for actions that were happening at a specific time in the past. Like the present continuous, it is formed with the auxiliary verb “to be” and the verb + ing.
The auxiliary verb "to be" and the verb + ing are used to form the past continuous. The auxiliary verb "to be" is in the past simple, but note that "to be" is an irregular verb.
